- 13 new story groups launched
- 392 Compassion Kits given in Jesus' Name
- 769 people hearing the gospel
- 45 decisions to begin following Jesus
- 18 baptisms!
Our teams from Pinelake Church and Venue Church grew and served together in the harvest fields of the Middle East. Even in the face of many forms of opposition, every Compassion Kit party happened as scheduled. We saw great responsiveness and 13 new story groups formed! All praise to God!!
"I will never forget your story" are the words that were shared by a man who repented and placed his faith in Jesus last week during our Compassion Kits mission in the Middle East. He shared how his life was so touched by the testimony of one of our short-term volunteers, that he knew he also need to put his faith in Jesus. Hundreds heard of the transforming power of Jesus throughout the week. Below is a summary recap of a great week of ministry with our short-term team:
Below is a link to the team video:
Last fall we mobilized 200 volunteers to serve and bless the leaders and church planters in the FAMM network in a state in Northern India. We shared thousands of touches of love through Compassion Kits in nearly 300 villages. But what has happened since?? God has strengthened this movement and more people are coming to Christ and more leaders have been trained and sent out to make disciples. Since our teams served in our Heart for Punjab Statewide Compassion Kit outreach we have seen:
Today our US team send out over 5,000 touches of love (actually 5,544) thanks to our partner churches who packed, personalized and prayed over every one of these Compassion Kits! Now our volunteers and field missionaries will be able to provide a great outpouring of prayer, love and truth to villages all over South Asia!
The For All Mankind Movement's vision is to reach laborers with the gospel, equip them to do the same, and send them back as missionaries to their own people. It is always such a blessing when we actually see those in our ministry become "sent ones." Sara (her previous name was Umm Kumari, which is a name of a Hindu goddess) is a lady we met last November at one of our Compassion Kit parties. She is from a Hindu family and has two babies back in Nepal. She is a single mother and came to the Middle East to earn money so that she can take care of her children. Sara became a believer around the time we met her and was baptized. She immediately joined one of our story groups with some other ladies from her camp. After several months, Sara and five other Nepali ladies from the story group went through our training and began leading the story group. She has grown into one of our strongest and boldest leaders!
Last week Sara became a "Sent One" as she took a two-month leave to go back to Nepal! Sara is currently the only beliver in her family and this is the first time for her to go back home as a follower of Jesus. For a woman, in her cast from her country, to make a decision to leave Hinduism and become a Christian is very shameful. In her village, her family is allowed to disown her or cast her out. They can withold food and water from her and not allow her to see her two children. BUT, Sara was determined to go back and share the gospel with not only her family, but also the villages around her home! She said, "I am not going home to visit friends and family. I am going home to share my faith with friends and family."
As we met with Sara before she left, we had a time of prayer with her. We prayed that the One, True, Living God would give her great boldness to share her new faith and give her favor with her family and village. We also gave her the stories on a micro SD card so that she could listen to them and share them with her family. As we told her in training, "As we have gone to you, no you go and do to others!"
Sara is on a great adventure the next two months as a missionary to her own people. Please join us in prayer for her as she goes.
God worked powerfully through our team in the Middle East last week! Thank you for praying with us and praise God for His grace poured out in the Middle East!

Today was the last day of our Heart 4 Punjab trip. We had a great time debriefing with the 115 people who participated in this part of the mission. Lives were changed and hearts were moved by power of Jesus this week.
After collecting all the data for the week and hearing all the stories, these are the visible results from the Heart 4 Punjab September team…
· 24,011 people attended 164 Compassion Kit parties
· 7,612 Compassion Kits were distributed
· 3,354 people made public professions of their faith in Jesus alone
· Countless touches of love!
The overall Heart 4 Punjab mission (August & September teams together) recorded:
· 40,380 people attended our Compassion Kit parties
· 15,212 Compassion Kits were distributed
· 5,839 people made decisions to follow Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior!
Thank you for your prayers, participation, and support over the past two months. We thank God for the tremendous harvest He gave in the Punjab state of India. Together we were able to truly touch the heart of Punjab in Jesus’ name!
To God Be the Glory,
On our trips to South Asia, we have a primary objective of assisting our network of story groups and house churches with evangelistic Compassion Kit parties in the evenings. (You can visit other pages on our website to learn how you can assist by providing Compassion Kits or join one of our teams.)
A secondary, but perhaps just as impactful ministry, are the home visits we make during the day. Our local leaders have made arrangements for teams of three people to visit the homes of people they are trying to reach in the villages where they have story groups and house churches.
During these visits our teams get to have personal interaction with people – hearing their stories, hurts, fears and problems. Our teams pray with them, share truth from God’s Word that directly relates to their circumstances, and love on them in Jesus’ name. In these encounters we are seeing people open their lives to the hope of Jesus. God is saving people, healing people, and preparing people for the Kingdom of God.
Each day our teams are spending hours a day making these home visits to encourage the believers and engage the lost.
During one visit, Kamal and I visited a 14-year-old boy who
cannot walk. I was able to share my father’s testimony with
him (who was disabled my entire life) and encouraged
him that even in his weakness, God’s strength can be made
On our last night of Compassion Kit parties our teams conducted
41 parties having:
· 5,644 People hearing the gospel message
· 1,920 Compassion Kits distributed
· 736 Accepting Christ as their Lord and Savior
Thank you for your prayers for our teams. We are still waiting to hear, and may never know this side of heaven, all the stories of what God is doing in the Punjab!
To God Be the Glory!
