A secondary, but perhaps just as impactful ministry, are the home visits we make during the day. Our local leaders have made arrangements for teams of three people to visit the homes of people they are trying to reach in the villages where they have story groups and house churches.
During these visits our teams get to have personal interaction with people – hearing their stories, hurts, fears and problems. Our teams pray with them, share truth from God’s Word that directly relates to their circumstances, and love on them in Jesus’ name. In these encounters we are seeing people open their lives to the hope of Jesus. God is saving people, healing people, and preparing people for the Kingdom of God.
Each day our teams are spending hours a day making these home visits to encourage the believers and engage the lost.
During one visit, Kamal and I visited a 14-year-old boy who
cannot walk. I was able to share my father’s testimony with
him (who was disabled my entire life) and encouraged
him that even in his weakness, God’s strength can be made
On our last night of Compassion Kit parties our teams conducted
41 parties having:
· 5,644 People hearing the gospel message
· 1,920 Compassion Kits distributed
· 736 Accepting Christ as their Lord and Savior
Thank you for your prayers for our teams. We are still waiting to hear, and may never know this side of heaven, all the stories of what God is doing in the Punjab!
To God Be the Glory!
