Just last night some of our team members in the Middle East went to visit a group of about ten men to tell them the story of Jesus' Passion. Most of the group wasn't ready when our team arrived but they eventually showed up after cleaning up from a long day of hard work. While they were shooting the breeze, a man in the group shared a perfect opportunity to introduce our story. He said, "The manager at our work is from Palestine. He can't go back because he has the death penalty, but he is safe here and makes ($6K), but his family is stuck there." Response, "Can we tell you about a man who was also from Palestine, named Jesus, he was in a similar situation! He knew that he'd die if he went to Jerusalem, so why would he dare go?" Our team shared the story (in the heart language of the people). A team member said, "You've probably seen pictures about the crucifixion, right?". Answer, "no." "Well, how many of you have heard this story before?" Not one of them. So over the next couple of weeks our team will visit again to complete the rest of this story. Please pray NOW for this group asking God to open their hearts to His message of hope and reconciliation!!
